HFL was guaranteed to win in this contest either way, as the Cougars C Team split up and faced off in a Black vs. Gold contest. The Black squad pulled away at the end in a close contest, 20-12. Both defenses held fast for most of the contest, displaying their Cougar pride in determined efforts to come out on top. JT Killenbec scored two touchdowns on the day for the black squad, along with Benji Carson. Brody Young and Zac Meacham scored for the Gold team.

The C Team Cougars will resume FLYFCL play when they host Dundee at 10:00AM on Sunday, September 15.
